To gain the Club's objectives we will:
raise money to support Club activities through a variety of options, such as play and environmental fund/grant applications, voluntary donations, partnerships with play and community organisations, sale of merchandise (such as T-shirts, budgets, posters, booklets...);
offer financial support to organise Green go-cart making workshops for children and families with the use of recycled and recyclable materials, and the managing and setting up of proper contexts to play with handmade go-carts, at the community level and then at local, national and international events;
provide an interactive website suitable for children to:
- display people's ideas and experiences with handmade motor-less go-carts;
- advertise events;
- supply free downloadable resources;
- inform about suitable places in the city to play with handmade go-carts;
- express children's opinions, feeling, ideas about the streets they use for playing.
offer teaching expertise to lead handmade go-cart workshops and to organise, manage and set up appropriate contexts to play with handmade go-carts, involving children, families and playworkers at the community level then at local, national and international events;
promote children's views, opinions, and feelings about their play activity in the streets, via playful active artistic forms of expression and communication;
stimulate children's imagination and knowledge of child friendly cities, broadening their views of the street playing in the city, enabling them to rethink the urban environment;
design and produce playful and cultural resources: to develop and expand the practice of handmade go-cart making/playing activities, and to promulgate the concept of child friendly cities and street redesigning.
provide a network of contacts useful to support and encourage people's participation within the framework of child friendly cities;
research and distribute information about go-cart making and play in different cultures.
